As you know, I went to dinner with Quincey and his owners, Michelle & Mike last night. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but Quincey was really nice and we got on quite well - I even allowed him to have a drink out of my bowl! Quincey is a border collie. While everyone had dinner, I sat under the table (well if I'm truthful, I slept) Slept all night when we got home, which was a good thing as I have been soooo busy today.
First of all we visited the market in Pont L'Abbe. The sights and smells were all new to me. I didn't like the cars as they went by but lots of people gave me a cuddle.
Then we went into a big house and in the garden, I met Charlie. He is a Braque and was nice as well and followed me all round the garden. We went inside and I met Linus the cat, but didn't take too much notice of him. While mum and dad had coffee, me and Charlie sat under the table. Laurence & Lyn came later as well. I had met them before, so I knew I would get some cuddles!! When we left some more people came to say hello; it was Anna & Chris. Got loads of attention from Anna and some big cuddles from Chris!
When we got home I had lunch and a good sleep. Then we went out again to La Haye De Puits. While mum went shopping, Dad and I sat and watched everyone go about their business. It was pouring with rain so we got really wet. Am starting to get used to cars, as long as they are not too close to me!
Just got home and we had MORE visitors. This time it was Jill & John, they smelt of another dog who I haven't met. Everyone we meet gives me lots of attention and Jill & John were no exception (I like meeting all these people!!).
When they left I stayed outside for a while, but it was raining and I dug up a big lump of grass and satrted to eat it - so mum made me come in.
Haven't eaten much tea yet - but I expect I will later.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
