Bohdan - one of the male dogs where I was born once told me it gets very hot there and always to find shade during the day and drink lots of water. Didn't realise it would be so hot up here in Normandy - but I am doing what Bohdan said. My favourite place during the day when its so hot is on the front patio, with a bowl of cold water!
Went to a Vide Grenier again on Sunday and guess what? I met quite a few of the dogs I saw the week before!!!! I said hello again to 2 black shaggy dogs - they told me they were Puli dogs and also felt the heat. An Afghan hound puppy said hello, so did a dalmation and a wired hair terrier - I let him have a drink from my bowl cos he was so hot.
Another visit to the vets tonight. I had to have a blood test to see if the rabies jab had taken - will be between 2 and 4 weeks before mum and dad get the results. The vet said I was very good.
Nice to have it cooler today.
