So busy and sooooo hot!!!

After the disappointment of not going up in the balloon in the morning, it was all smiles as mum and dad were told they were going up in the evening!!!
Before that we visited a nearby Chateau (Poupon). It was lovely AND I was allowed inside. Could see myself living here!!!

Glad I didn't meet this when it was alive!!!

 Can just imagine Shirley clambering through it to get hold of this old lace!!!! 

 Then we met the balloon crew and set off to to launch site. I wasn't allowed to go, but I stayed with the ground crew (just to show them where to go to meet the balloon when it landed!!!)  It seemed ages before we found them. Oh dear!! the farmer was not too happy as they had landed in his crop field!!!. While the pilot passified him with an offer of compensation, all the passengers helped fold up the balloon, before we had a toast (of champagne) to the pilot.

Really tired when we got home!
Today we went to another chateau (Chenonceaux).It was really big. Wasn't allowed in this one but the grounds were beautiful.

Had lunch in the Orangerie - very posh!!!  Could really get used to this way of life!!

It has been very hot here - so when we got back - I just went to sleep!!!
