The party was in their wood - yes they actually own a wood (with a stream going through it - but more of THAT later!!!). All my friends were there so lots of cuddles.
Everyone had a lovely lunch under the trees (mum took mine as well) I was allowed off the lead -and took the opportunity to head for the stream to cool off! Dad tried to stop me, but I dodged him and went in! Mum called me and I thought I had better get out - although it was so lovely and cool. Unfortunately I got so hot I jumped in again. After that I was on the lead for the rest of the time. I suddenly realised I still have my stitches in (they come out tomorrow) - Whoops - hope I haven't done anything nasty to them!
After coming home I had a lovely long sleep - hope it cools down tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteI did come over to the party to see what all the fuss was about, and I did think I might sidle over and say hello, but then I remembered the mousehole I have been checking out, nothing much came out though. Thought you looked amazing after you came out of the water, I just managed to move out of the way before you had that almighty shake, I know some people got drenched. Anyway, you missed the best bit, after everyone had gone, just as it was getting dark, I went back over the wood and lo and behold, in the marquee, lots of leftover food, delicious chocolate cake, fish pie and cream. Yum yum
