Hole lotta trouble!!!

Do you ever get the urge to do something - even though you know you shouldn't?  It was so tempting - and I'm only a puppy - what could I do?

Dad, as you can see, has tried to filll them in and covered each one with netting - nice try dad!!!

He even had to use my boat to cover one up!
Oh my what a tiring thing it is to give in to temptation!!!

A la prochaine

  1. Hi Freya, Florrie here. I know exactly how you feel. Now, when I was in Stalag Luft3 during the last war, we dug tunnels, lots of them and each time we started one, the Germans would find it and like Phil, they would fill it in, but they used concrete. We then hit on the idea of digging from the inside, you ought to try that, find a dark corner but make sure you camouflage it well. We dug ours under a stove, anyway, me and big X made it back to blighty. So good luck with your tunnel and hope you manage to escape.

  2. Oh Florrie - you must be soo brave (and soooo OLD)to have lived through this war thing. I'm not trying to escape though - I just smell so many exciting smells I have to dig to see if I can find out who they belong to. Mum says we have lots of little creatures living around us. Did you use a shovel - cos your feet are so tiny. If I had been there I would have got you out in seconds - I can dig really fast!!! How come you are back in France now - did big X make you an offer you couldn't refuse?

  3. Hi FREYA
Florrie here. Actually I feel I have got to own up to stretching the truth a little. Big X did get back to England, but whilst going through France, I stopped at a local village where they were having an annual meal. I was invited to join in so I did, but..it took so long for the food to arrive that D-Day happened and I no longer felt I needed to go to England, so stayed here. As for your question of digging, well I did use my front feet, you would be suprised how much dirt I can move, but yes, you would have been a great help.
