Holidays!!!

I knew something was up  cos mum and dad both had suitcases this morning.   Made sure they didn't go without me and my stuff! 

 Come on - I'm ready to go!!!

What a long journey! We stopped at a lovely place for lunch, but I wasn't allowed to go in the water :(  got myself into a bit of a pickle by the picnic table!!!

Still had a nice walk round the lake before back in the car and onward to our destination!!

Near Amboise we past this huge house - mum said it was a Chateau. Well I don't know about that - but it was enormouse!

The cottage is very nice, small but with a nice garden. Spent a long time sniffing around outside while mum got things ready inside.  They had forgotten to bring some milk so dad had to drive down and get some (don't think he was too pleased about that after driving nearly all day.)

Still it was alright in the end!  We went out for dinner and I was allowed in the restaurant!! I behaved impeccably ( wellI went to sleep under the table!!!)  Then home, where I finished my dinner and we are just sitting listenning to the radio as dad can't get a picture on the tele!!!

Mum is a bit upset as she had a phone call to say her balloon ride tomorrow morning has been cancelled - but hopefully she will go up in the evening - (fingers crossed)
