What on earth has mum found now?

New walk along another voie verte. I said hello to a donkey and wasn't too spooked by some cyclists who whizzed by.  Dad  and I had a run along the path - well I just trotted along beside him!!!

When we reached the crossroads -  I wondered which way to go - some seemed too far away from me!!

On the way back -  mum suddenly was looking rather intently at the ground. she, for once was not pointing the camera at me - but at a rather ugly looking thing on the path.

Nobody knows what it is - anyone have any ideas?  Please let mum & dad know - it's driving them crazy!!!
